Stitches launched a couple of weeks ago, the second installment from the UK horror collective Bloody Cuts. Check it out here:

I’m very proud to be invloved with the team… As well as looking after their digital activity I’m also shooting a Making-Of film to accompany the full anthology… you can see a sneak preview in the form of some on-set photography here

Check out the press release here:

Roll up; roll up the circus of horrors is in town to showcase the new spectacle of terrors that is “Stitches”; the latest gruesome instalment of the Bloody Cuts anthology.

“Stitches” is the second of thirteen low/no budget short horror films from the film-making collective “Bloody Cuts”.

You won’t die laughing but you’ll sure as hell be in stitches.

Think twice when you next accept the offer to baby sit a friend or family member’s little horror for the night. You might just get a few more screams over the expected protestations of bed time, a very permanent bed time…

“Stitches” was shot on Location in Norfolk and whilst our first film “Lock Up” cost the grand total of three pizzas, “Stitches” set us back the equivalent of eight portions of Harry Ramsden’s fish and chips smothered in an extra helping of very special Millennium FX sauce.

The Bloody Cuts films with be released online at www.bloodycuts.co.uk, and will run periodically until we’ve terrified the even the very brightest corners of the internet.

Whilst our film making ideology is grass roots horror on a low budget, the Bloody Cuts team are looking for accomplices in the form of funders, sponsors or supporters. If you fancy associating your product, project or website with the Bloody cuts anthology then get in contact with us today to discuss ideas and opportunities: ben@bloodycuts.co.uk

Each film will run at 2-3 minutes long and will be drenched in the tropes of classic horror, so if you’re a true horror fan this will be right down your Elm Street.

Frights. Cameras. Action. Watch this space as the dread continues to unfold.

Stiches is available here and lock up is available here so creep on over and check them out if you’ve got a couple of minutes to kill.

TW CAT is an expert fundraising agency for the not-for-profit sector, offering our clients direct marketing consultancy and data insight to deliver great results.

TW CAT required a new corporate site, that integrated their brand with a fresh approach to their web-presence, all sat on top of a content management system. This site was built with the express concern to communicate TW CAT’s core message clearly and rapidly without getting caught up in internet fads and distractions.

I also produced the “TW CAT: The Movie” corporate video on the site.

TW CAT’s team are a great bunch of people and I heartily recommend them for all your fundraising needs.

Web-Based horror anthology project including logo/website/marketing toolkit and the graphics for the debut feature lock up.

After working with the guys at Poppy Quick on the Two Years of Summer (A finalist/shortlisted film for the BFI SCI-FI 48 Hr Film Challenge) a new project has arisen.

We had set ourselves the following challenge: To produce a series of 13x 2-3 minute horror shorts. Released over a number of months, these will seek to attract a loyal fan base of scare fans, as well as those who are looking for short form web-based entertainment.

So far I have produced the design of both the project logo/website/marketing toolkit for the anthology and the graphics for the debut feature lock up. I’ve also crafted some digital ad banners and a press release.

Press Release:

The first of 13 ‘Bloody Cuts’ makes its entry wound with the release of ‘Lock Up’ – the debut from an anthology of chilling shorts spilt from the vein of horror fanaticism.

When you’re leaving late from work, like you’ve done many times before; spare a thought for the complacency of your safety and stay out of the dark – evil lives there. Lock Up is a chilling tale of fear and suspense and a potent reminder that something of nightmares could be lurking in the shadows around any corner.

The depraved minds behind this debauched orgy of terror comes from the oozing amniotic fluid spawned by creators of ‘2 Years of Summer’ – A top ten shortlisted film created for the BFI’s Sci-Fi 48 hour film challenge earlier this year.

The Bloody Cuts films with be released online at www.bloodycuts.co.uk, and will run until their terrifying cycle is complete.

Frights. Cameras. Action. Watch this space as the dread unfolds.
